PART III: THE COMING OF THE GERMANS
The Germanic hordes descended upon the Empire like locusts for multitude and like the waters of the ancient flood (Revelation 9:1-12; 16:10-11), for they rose up out of that Abyss in which are all things harmful that exist but are now hidden and restrained, and as in 20:1-3 (and see 11:7 and 17:8), to kill and then themselves revive the Fourth Kingdom, which is yet the sixth of eight (13:3; 17:7-11). But truly these of His elect that He brought down with Him from the north country to execute His vengeance on the rulers of the lands and the city of abominations, purple and scarlet, gold and gems and pearls, before whom men rejoiced to find a grave, and some sought death but could not find it, passing in the end to a towering flame that they never imagined could be real, bitter in soul and filled with blasphemy, those were called and chosen and faithful, servants of the King of kings (17:4, 14). And they have been free now many ages of the great tribulation, and they work and keep the Garden of their Lord, and He among them. “They will not hunger any more, nor will they thirst any more; neither will the sun beat down on them or any heat” (7:14, 16; and compare 2:7, 9; 3:17-19; Luke 23:43; and Genesis 2:15 and 3:8). And see further how it was the German sword wielded as though from beyond the known or knowable by One who is ever primordial, ever barbarian, that having brought down the Empire and the city of the Romans, later established and defended the commune at Munster and exterminated the reprobates, Synagogue of Satan, out of Europe; and that five prophetic months and a night of fear past 1789 the individualistic-Enlightenment state was overwhelmed in France by raging waves of death and vengeance — truly “the wicked flee though none pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1) — and Germany was again victorious; and she is by nature indestructible and the Lord’s own sword-arm forever; and that all these events were of epic and indeed transcendent significance and were, questions of ideological formulation and attendant details of procedure in regard to the Judaic action aside, in manifest conformity with the divine will. And even today, a segment of the German culture zone extends as the tip of a fuse from the mass of Soviet dependencies. Surely it was only in obedience to the decree of Heaven that the core element of the German national tradition, the giant emerging from endless hailswept forests, at first timidly and in wonder, knowing only freedom, who then in contempt and loathing turns city-burner, survived for aeons in a land fenced off by thornhedges and politically fragmented to atoms, the wilderness and spoil of a continent, the eye of the storm of civilization and “progress” raging about it on every side, so that Germany has remained in terms of inner orientation and world view, the veneer supplied by forced adaptation and temporary loss of balance notwithstanding, an exponent in the heart of Europe of what is in reality a major segment of the universal tradition of the whole peasant world; and in truth the element of existential uncertainty introduced into the empirical matrix and thus the world view of the people of Germany — the camp of the saints, even the men of the beloved city, true Zion of these last days, to whom alone have been granted wealth and a mighty sword in this world and beatitude and the life of the Garden in the next, being the core unit of the divine Kingdom and sole heirs of that Heaven shown to Paul (Micah 4:8; II Corinthians 12:2-4) — by the events of the post-1914 epoch, reinforcing in the most profound manner the internalization of the fundamental insights compromising the received tradition, has served to neutralize down to this very day the hardening of the heart that comes upon the mass of the wealthy after the type of the experiences and response of the centurion, and has ensured the survival in the German breast alone among the people of all technologically advanced societies of the heart of flesh of the ancients and the mind-set of the generality of the elect. And as one was called from the western land and found the prophet Bernard sword-bearer in Munster, so will comfort and an outstretched arm of might be raised up now in these last days for the unification within its historic boundary of the German culture zone and the attendant overthrow of the Marxist order and devastation of the Soviet heartland from the limits of the west. “And they heard a great voice from out of heaven saying to them, ‘Come up here’; and they rose up in the cloud to heaven within the sight of their enemies. And there was at that time a great explosion, and a tenth of the city fell, and the bearers of seven thousand family names were slain in that explosion; and the remainder became filled with awe and gave glory to the God of Heaven” (Revelation 11:12-13).
“ ‘I will go and return to My place until they acknowledge their offense and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek Me early.’ ‘Come and let us return to the LORD, for He has torn and He will heal us, He has smitten and He will bind us up. After two days will He revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we might live before Him. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: His going forth is prepared like the dawn; and He will come to us like the rain, even to the earth like the latter and former rain’ ” (Hosea 5:15-6:3). And the acknowledgement of offense long before these last days is to be reckoned as having occurred in 1532, at the beginning of the three and a half year ministry of the prophets John of Leyden and Bernard of Munster (and see how similar was the situation of the Lord in the days of His earthly visitation to that of these prophets, and as in Revelation 10:11-11:14, and how similar as well to that of the children of His Kingdom in all times and lands), and the Lord will remain in His own place in Heaven until He returns here to earth in the midst of the war of Gog and Magog at the end of the Millennium, as in 20:7-10 (and compare for instance Ezekiel 38:22; 39:6; Zechariah 14:4-5; I Thessalonians 3:13; and II Thessalonians 1:6-10), like the latter rain again. And the three and a half days of Revelation 11:9 and 11 extended for three and a half centuries in their fulfillment, as discussed elsewhere, and His going forth is compared here to the dawn, like the dawn of His blessed resurrection, and so the time of their ministry and martyrdom is accounted as the even of the day, they having been as though clothed in sackcloth and shrouded in mourning and gloom for the misery of His elect in the hands of Babylon. And the Scripture speaks here as though the day begins at dawn, and if so the first night is not to appear in the count of days, but the two days after which He will revive us began not in 1532 but in 1582 and ended in 1782, but that was the instant of the crack of dawn and belonged to no day, and in 1783 the American state appeared after a time of war with the signing of a treaty of peace with her former colonialist master. And virtually unbeknownst to the world in a day when absolutely nobody saw the remotest spiritual, or mystical, or Scriptural significance to it, the corpses of the prophets that had been hanging in cages from the spires of the Munster cathedral for 345 years were taken down in 1881, at the very end of that third day, and so we were accounted as though raised from degradation and reproach, for so shall we be through the light that they brought, and truly we shall live before Him, though we are the poor who know how we must walk for now before the living, and we say, “Our bones are dried and our hope is lost: we are utterly cut off” (Ecclesiastes 6:8; Ezekiel 37:11). And the knowledge that renders all things plain appears in 1983 in that booklet of Revelation 10:1-10, even the spirit of life that revives the prophets, and there is in it as the roar of a lion, and the words of the seven thunders are in it, and there is in it much more besides; and that is the year of the dawn and the struggle of the pious of Islam “by the side of the great river, even the Tigris” (Daniel 10:4; 12:5-6) against the prince of Chaldea and his army — also the American action against the reprobates in Grenada, proxies of that fiend whose only thought is war against God and the physical extermination of this people — when He goes forth and all the hosts of His elect after Him to crush great Babylon to pulp beneath the treads of a fearsome juggernaut that lurches and lumbers forward now again. But no one at all saw the guidance of Heaven in the events of 1881 until this present time, and therefore the following on refers to the true import, under as it is beyond the level of the flowering of words, of the coming to the throne of Germany at the precise midpoint of this hundred year unit, that is in 1933, of Adolph Hitler, the incarnate spirit of zeal and vengeance — truly he was at root a disembodied mind, like the spirits of the ancients and the spirits of the peasant world, as established elsewhere, and not a man at all, even the Lord’s own Spirit who had been John of Leyden and the apostle John before him, though not self-aware as these or in the God’s own image, also Jehu and that conqueror-prophet on whom His Name had been called who is victory-bearer and ruthless and shrewd as a serpent.
“Who is this coming from Edom, even with brightly colored garments from Bozrah, this who is majestic in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? ‘That is Myself who speaks in righteousness, mighty to save.’ Why is Your clothing red, and Your garments like one who treads in the winevat? ‘I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples there was not one with Me; but I trod them down in My anger, and trampled them underfoot in My wrath: and so their lifeblood was sprinkled on My garments, and thus I defiled all My clothing. For the day of vengeance is truly in my heart, and the year of My redeemed ones has come. And I looked around, but there was no helper and I was astonished that there was no support; but My own arm can accomplish salvation for Me, and My wrath, it will sustain Me. For I will tread the peoples down in My anger and make them drunk in My wrath, and pour their lifeblood out upon the ground’ ” (Isaiah 63:1-6). And see the fanatical luminosity of the eyes of the God as depicted in Revelation 19:11-21 and how it was reflected without peer in those of Adolph Hitler, a lower class figure whose name “no one knew but he himself” who, having become King of kings and Lord of lords both hidden and revealed, vesture over thigh, then displayed first of all men that true anti-Soviet hysteria, as seeing the Judaic superimposed upon the image of the Russian; and he came back from Edom with the key of victory, covered with glory and the blood of the reprobates. But his ministry and that of his people, having failed utterly and become nothing and less than nothing, as the whole world then imagined — Jesus dead, Babylon victorious, the disciples losing heart and marked for vengeance — has in truth been only suspended, as for a day or a fraction of a day, while the hidden core of his message spreads throughout all lands; and we look for his appearance again, and this time in America, to fulfill the count of “the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth” (Revelation 1:4; 3:1; 4:5; 5:6), and his conduct of the war against the Judaic and the war against the Soviet state, but all things only in accordance with the inner hidden meaning of his words and deeds — mass raising of the level of happiness and national vengeance for its own sake — where Third World and Third Force merge.
