ON THE NATURE AND DOOM OF THE SOVIET STATE
II THESSALONIANS 2:1-12
Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, called Lenin, metamorphosed and passed now into the collectivity of the Soviet State, his lie indelibly fused with Russian nationalism by the shock of invasion — but the name of the wicked shall rot
1 Now we ask, brothers, of you concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
2 That you not become quickly shaken in mind or agitated, either by a spirit or by word or by a letter as though from us, saying that the day of the Lord has come.
3 Let no one deceive you by any means, for that day will not arrive without the coming of the Apostasy first and the revelation of the man of sin, doomed to destruction,
4 Who so opposes and exalts himself over everything that is called a god or that is an object of worship that he would even sit himself down in the temple of God and present himself as God!
5 Do you not recall that when I was still with you, I said these things to you?
6 And you know what is restraining him now, that he might be revealed in his own proper time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity is already at work, only there is that which restrains it now until it breaks forth out of our midst.
8 And then shall that Wicked One be revealed whom the Lord Jesus will consume by the breath of His mouth and destroy by the manifestation of his presence:
9 Whose coming is by the work of Satan with all power and signs and false omens.
10 And with every wicked deception for those who are to perish — even because they refused the love of the truth that they might be saved.
11 Therefore, even for this, God will send against them a deluding influence that they might believe the Lie.
12 That they might all be condemned who did not believe the truth, but had approved of the evil.
Surely He is ever with us and His mouth has commanded war, that they might all be condemned and perish that are the border of wickedness and the people of His curse against whom He will rage in fury forever, even the tenth part of the city of Pharisees and of servitude and affliction, but it called according to the spirit of it Sodom, ever reprobate, being an eighth and yet one of seven, the very image and projection of that great one, that red one, called world-deceiver and serpent turned dragon (surely his image sharpens with the passing of the kingdoms), sprung whole from the drivel of these his Synagogue whose spite was turned to horror and themselves to ashes — so may all Your enemies perish, O Lord — filled with names of blasphemy and ever growing wrath, for the nameless hosts whose blood cries out, blood of saints and blood of the martyrs of Jesus.
“For we will destroy this place, because their cry has become great before the presence of the LORD; and the LORD has sent us to destroy it.”
— Genesis 19:13
And they said again, “Hallelujah!” And her smoke will rise up forever and ever.
— Revelation 19:3
And the beast had seven heads, and one of them was “as it were wounded to death” at the fall of Rome, but “its deadly wound was healed” in this Western Civilization, and they are seven kings which are kingdoms, as in Daniel 7:17 and 23, for he says of the heads, “and those are seven kings,” which are Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, and Arabia, and there is an eighth to appear at the end, the metamorphosed form of the Eastern Empire, which is the beast itself, “that was and is not and yet is” — “I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed, and given to the burning flame” — bearing the full measure of the impurity, guile and fury of its master, and that is the Marxist tyranny of the Third Rome, for “the beast that was and is not, that is even the eighth, but is one of the seven, and goes to destruction” (Daniel 7:11; Revelation 13:3; 17:7-11). And this Soviet Union foreshadowed in Sodom — the fire, the cave, contamination, and the great fear — is the Edom of the Old Testament latter-day prophecies as well, the godless petulant one who, returning weary and in defeat from the high places of the field, despised his heritage for a seething cauldron of a thing alien and unknown, becoming through it that Red One made for blood whom blood shall pursue, rebuilt now since the Second World War but destined for destruction and everlasting burnings, the habitation only of the monsters of the ancients, even as the Synagogue of Satan when vengeance seized hold of it, twisted and doomed mutant forms that struggle and scurry in the deathsmoke; and truly, “Though you might grind a fool in a mortar among kernels with a pestle, his folly would still not depart from him” (Genesis 19:1-30; 25:27-34; Proverbs 27:22; Isaiah 34; Malachi 1:2-5; and Hebrews 12:16; and Edom means “red one” and Esau “fully made”). But is it not evident from the boorishness and brutality of Russian life in all ages that the subtlety and deftness of intellect requisite for more than replacing a ramshackle nondescript social order so obviously characterized by the rigid, superfluous and counterproductive fruits of mental ossification with a second one of similar nature grounded in a borrowed German Judaic agitational device is simply lacking among the Russians and that the salient feature of what passes for initiative among them is nothing but a deeply ingrained and very likely innate folly? And it is not improper for those who stare into the sights of history’s most fearsome war machine, one constructed at the cost of all other conceivable priorities in a brutalized and destitute land, to refer to this indisputable truth. Then see the incorrigible nature of the Russian heart, and the inability of even the best there to stand before the all-pervasive all-consuming evil, and how the Russian collectivity has become an abomination that can never improve again, a people of zombies as though already even now cut off from the world, that must be looked through and skirted past for the moment, but then exterminated by fire and sword without pity or guilt root and branch from Eurasia.
Then a host appeared out of Ephraim sprung from the root of war against Amalek.
— Judges 5:14
I set a trap for you and you were even as taken, O Babylon, but you were not aware! Now are you both ferreted out and also caught, because you have striven against the LORD!
— Jeremiah 50:24
How many people there are in the world who say almost by rote, “It could be any day now, any day at all!” but they are only thinking of the decadent and powerless already half-forgotten states of the European Atlantic coastal fringe; and they fear the Soviet Union as a latter-day Britain, all treachery and wily words before whom it is forbidden to walk erect or fail to murmur praise and seem awestruck, and they know that America has become dominated by its Judaic faction which has manifestly succeeded in vitiating its national will; and they are almost nostalgic for the lost counterpoise of German might, the one straightforward and always predictable if seemingly irrecoverable factor in the world power equation that, arising from the core element of the ancient Germanic tradition — namely, that of the giant emerging from endless hailswept forests, at first timidly and in wonder, knowing only freedom, who then in contempt and loathing turns city-burner — greatly reinforced by long ages of semi-colonial status, one understood in former years merely by knowing himself. And how absurd it is to think that no Americans will greet that day in relief and joy when the mantle of preeminence scavenged away by the Zionists of Palestine will be snatched back from them and bestowed on a reunified and militarily resurgent Germany, and the Judaic heart of America will be cut out and replaced by fire and steel.
But come see the subtlety of Jehu, spirit of vengeance, when he trod the zealots’ path to destroy Baal out of Israel (yet there were certain flaws in his character and the Lord cut short the northeastern border of Israel in his days — though all lands that had ever been Israelite to the extreme limit of the Solomonic Empire were ultimately restored — but this surely was not among them), the wild fury of a madman and the cunning of the wise, for to the righteous one he said, “Come with me and see my zeal for the LORD!” and nothing had been left of Jezebel but the palms of her hands and the skull and feet of the impurity-bearer — and from these sprouted Blasphemy and as its head the Judaic and with him the Enlightenment to buffet and maim and the Marxist to tread in victory on the steppelands of the north and trample the pious underfoot until his own day comes as well, even his — but to the assembled host of the dissolute, even all that still remained among the living to Jezebel, “Search and see that no one is with you here of the servants of he LORD, but the worshippers of Baal only,” and he had said in order to gather them, and the house of Baal was filled now from corner to corner and a light as of fire danced on the swordblades, “Ahab served Baal a little; but Jehu will serve him much” (now again he touches ground, spirit of zeal and vengeance, even as he did from France to the Ukraine when the demons of a continent trembled and fled and were hurled back wailing, likeness of Amalek and Jew-mask of the devil, before him; and well does he remember the night of Pharaoh’s grief and the abject terror of the one who said, “Who is the LORD?”) — but then, “Go in and smite them; make sure not one gets out!” (Exodus 5:2; 12:30-32; Deuteronomy 25:17-19; I Samuel 15:32-33; I Kings 4:24; II Kings 9:30-37; 10:15-34; 14:23-29; 15:16; and compare Numbers 5:14,30).
